How do I… arm and disarm the security system?

Your security system can integrate with Control4, providing you access and control from any touchscreen, or through the Control4 App while you are away!

Tap security and then tap security system.

The dial and the text below it indicate your security system’s current state: green for disarmed. To arm the system, tap the dial, and select to arm while you are still home, or arm to away.  

You see the dial turned red for armed, and you will see a countdown timer if your security system has a delay to allow you to exit before the system fully arms.

Tap the dial again to disarm the system, tapping the appropriate code (1 2 3 4).  

If there is an emergency, you can tap the appropriate type of emergency to notify your security system’s monitoring service.  

Tap functions to view the available options integrated through your security system. These options will change based upon the make and model of the security system you own.

In the navigation bar, tap zones to see the state of the sensors connected to your security system.  

In the menu bar, tap the history button to see all state changes for your security system and your sensors over a period of time.

Tap back and then tap keypad in the menu bar to access the keypad, if you have a need to enter a numeric code or to execute functionality from one of the security panel’s programmed buttons.
